Katherine is an ANCC board-certified nurse practitioner who joined Lowcountry Urology Clinics in 2023. Katherine’s areas of interests encompass both male and female urological conditions.
Originally from Georgia, she is a doctoral graduate from the Emory University Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program, where she successfully defended her dissertation on treatment outcomes for alcohol-associated liver transplant patients and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Prior to Emory University, Katherine earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.
She has a clinical background in critical care medicine through the Medical University of South Carolina, where she shared the role of registered nurse, clinical nurse preceptor, and shared governance board member. Katherine is an active member within the American Nurses Association and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
