William C. Carter III, MD
Dr. Bill Carter was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and earned his BS at College of Charleston. He later earned his MD and performed his Urology Residency at MUSC. He was a founding partner when Lowcountry Urology Clinics formed in 2006.
Dr. Carter has conducted research on calcium metabolism and renal stone disease, and he has presented to and been published by the American Urology Association. He is currently involved in ongoing prostate cancer research.
Dr. Carter lives on John’s Island with Dorothy, his wife of 40 years. They have two grown daughters, Julia and Louisa. His hobbies include photography and sailing.
