Matthew Young, MD
Dr. Young was born in Owensboro, Kentucky and attended the University of Kentucky where he graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Biology and Chemistry. He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2009.
He completed his general surgery internship and Urologic residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2014, where he gained an interest in endoscopic and robotic surgery. He recently moved back to Charleston from Conway, South Carolina where he helped pioneer a urologic robotics program at Conway Medical Center.
Dr. Young has an interest in all aspects of Urology, including stone disease, male and female voiding dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, men’s health, and robotic/minimally invasive surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Young likes to spend time outdoors and watching sports with his wife and son.
