Bradley W. Steele, MD

Dr. Steele has been practicing urology and urologic surgery since 2000. He was a founding member of Lowcountry Urology Clinics when the practice formed in 2006.

An Indiana native, Dr. Steele received a B.A. in Biology from the University of Evansville, then earned his M.D. from Indiana University. Dr. Steele completed his General Surgery internship and Urology residency at UNC School of Medicine at Chapel Hill. While at North Carolina, he authored many Urology presentations and published articles, and earned the distinction of Urology Resident of the Year.

Dr. Steele began his Urology practice in Beaufort, SC, moving to Charleston in 2002. He joined Lowcountry Urology Clinics when it formed in 2006. Today, his Urology practice focuses on urologic malignancies, erectile dysfunction, female reconstructive surgery, endourology, and minimally-invasive surgery. Dr. Steele is a certified DaVinci robotic surgeon and Medical Director of Lowcountry Ambulatory Center.

A certified member of the American Board of Urology, Dr. Steele is the former President of the South Carolina Urological Association, served as the S.C. Delegate to the Southeastern Section of the American Urologic Association from 2020 to 2023, and served as the Chief of Staff at Roper St. Francis Hospital from 2016 to 2020. He also serves on several practice boards and hospital committees. He is the long-term Treasurer of the Widows and Orphans Society.

Dr. Steele lives in Johns Island with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys fishing, boating, golf, snow skiing, and automobile restoration.
